NFTs are "one-of-a-kind" assets in the digital world that can be bought and sold like any other piece of property, but which have no tangible form of their own. The digital tokens can be thought of as certificates of ownership for virtual or physical assets. (BBC News, 2021)

 

What are the Horse Hero NFT's used for?

Those who own a Horse Hero NFT will be a part of the group that governs the community and decide how assets are allocated to best benefit horses and the horse community. See the roadmap for more details.

 

How do I buy an NFT?

Go to www.coinbase.com and register, they will need to verify your identity for tax purposes.

Using your debit card connected to coinbase buy some Ethereum and some Matic you will need enough to pay for your NFT's and the associated gas fees. (The Horse Hero NFT's are 50 Matic each, so make sure to move enough to buy as many NFT's as you would like plus a little extra for fees)

In the Google Chrome Browser download the Chrome Extension "Metamask Wallet", this will allow you to connect to websites to mint your NFT's. It will also allow you to connect to OpenSea to view your NFT's.

Now, set up the polygon network on your metamask by first clicking on the drop down menu and selecting custom RPC and then adding the following information:

Then go back to Coinbase and send your Matic and Ethereum from Coinbase to your Metamask wallet.

Once your funds are in your wallet on the Ethereum Chain you are almost there!!

Go to Polygon, connect your wallet and choose Polygon Bridge, you will now be able to move your Ethereum to the Polygon Network. This saves you a lot of money on fees in the future!

Now head over to Horse Heros Minting Page and connect your wallet and mint a Greg or two or twenty (twenty is the limit).
